12 Drinks of Christmas- Festive Cocktail & Mocktail Recipes

2020 has been a year and we need a DRINK! We created 12 flavor packed, irresistible cocktails and mocktails that you can toast with to celebrate the holiday season. Using Dreidoppel Flavor Pastes and ingredients you already have at your disposal, these drinks could not be any easier to make. Get recipes and directions below!

1.) Lavender Lemonade Mocktail

A refreshing sip of tang and sweet with a floral aroma. Our Lavender Flavor Paste is the star of this delicious beverage!

You'll need:

  • 8 oz glass
  • Lemonade
  • ½ tablespoon of lavender simple syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)

Instructions:

  • Fill glass up with lemonade
  • Stir to mix and distribute lavender simple syrup evenly
  • Add ice cubes

*to make less sweet, use half sparkling water and half lemonade.

**this can easily be turned into a cocktail by adding 1.5 oz of vodka.

2.) Blueberry Soda

A drink for the kids that looks and feels fancy, but is simply flavored sparkling water. If you're in the mood for a blueberry buzz, add some vodka or gin!

You'll need:

  • Rocks or Collins Glass
  • ½ tablespoon of blueberry simple syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)
  • Soda water or sparkling water

Instructions:

  • Mix together and add ice cubes
  • For a bit of whimsy, add a pick of fresh blueberries

**this can easily be turned into a cocktail by adding 1.5 oz of vodka or gin

3.) Pineapple Hibiscus Mocktail

A pleasant, fruity drink with crisp flavor! The familiar and cool taste of pineapple mixed with fruity, floral hibiscus makes for an irresistible combination.

You'll need:

  • Stemless wine glass
  • ½ tablespoon of Hibiscus Simple Syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)
  • One part soda water or sparkling water to one part pineapple juice

Instructions:

  • Mix together and add ice cubes
  • Slice up fresh pineapple wedges for garnish

4.) Blackberry Lavender Gin

This icy purple stunner is herbaceous and floral with a touch of sweet blackberry. Perfect when served on the rocks.

You'll need:

  • Rocks glass
  • Soda water
  • 2 ounces of gin
  • 1 teaspoon of lavender simple syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon of blackberry simple syrup

Instructions:

  • Mix together
  • Add ice cubes and fill up glass with soda water
  • Add a sprig of rosemary for garnish

5.) Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail

Pop the bubbly! We all love a little champagne on New Year's Eve, but how about surprising their taste buds with a hibiscus flavored champagne cocktail? Garnished with an orange peel for a bit of citrus flair, this drink will be the talk of the night!

You'll need:

  • Champagne or Coupe Glass
  • ½ tablespoon of Hibiscus Simple Syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)
  • ½ ounce of St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
  • 2 ounces of Champagne

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients
  • Garnish with a lemon twist or candied orange slice

6.) Rose Lemon Drop Martini

Where strength meets delicate elegance. This martini is accented with subtle notes of Rose Flavor Paste and a hint of lemon zing. Shake it up, pour, and sip the night away.

You'll need:

  • Martini Glass
  • 1 ounce of Rose Simple Syrup (see recipe for flavored simple syrup)
  • 1 ounce of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 2 ounces of Vodka

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds
  • Strain into martini glass and serve
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon

7.) Ruby Martini

I’d like a little glitter with my drink, please! A martini with a true wow factor, this cocktail is mixed with our Ruby Brilliant Powder to add glitz and glam to every sip.

You'll need:

  • Cocktail Shaker with strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Cocktail jigger
  • ½ ounce of dry vermouth
  • 5 ounces of vodka
  • Pinch of Ruby Brilliant powder (add more if you want a more vibrant effect)

Instructions:

  • Prep your glass by chilling it down with ice and water.
  • Pour vermouth and vodka into cocktail shaker. Add ice cubes and shake for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Empty martini glass
  • With strainer attached, pour chilled vodka and vermouth from shaker into martini glass.
  • Add your pinch of Ruby Brilliant Powder to drink and swirl with a pick.
  • For garnish, add a lemon peel or pick of fresh cranberries.

Voila! Drama!

8.) Strawberry Italian Soda

A frothy pink drink with a fan favorite flavor! This strawberry Italian soda is made with Strawberry Dreidoppel Flavor Paste, club soda, and half & half- that’s it! And boy, is it good!

You'll need:

  • Collins glass (tall glass)
  • Strawberry Simple Syrup (see separate recipe)
  • Club Soda
  • Half & Half

Instructions:

  • Fill glass with ice
  • Pour 1 ounce of strawberry simple syrup into glass
  • Add club soda ¾ way up glass
  • Top with cream (half & half)
  • Garnish with a fresh strawberry

Stir. Sip. Enjoy!

9.) Mango Coconut Tea

Creamy, vibrant, and delightful. The accents of real mango pieces add beautiful, sweet flavor to this black tea. For special effect and creamy taste, add a splash of coconut milk to transform this refreshing drink.

You'll need:

  • 8 ounces of brewed black tea
  • 1 oz of Mango Simple Syrup (see separate recipe)
  • Splash of Coconut Milk

Instructions:

  • In a tall glass, fill with ice
  • Add 1 ounce of mango simple syrup
  • Fill glass almost to top with chilled, brewed black tea
  • Top with coconut milk. Add a splash first, stir. Add more if desired.

For a sweeter drink, add 2 ounces of mango simple syrup.

10.) Holiday Moscow Mule

Chilled with the greatest flavor! Create a holiday Moscow mule with a blackberry edge- stir in our Blackberry Flavor Paste to produce a royal purple color and berry taste.

You'll need:

Instructions:

  • Fill your copper mug with ice.
  • Pour in 2 ounces of vodka.
  • Add 1 ounce of your desired flavored simple syrup (we went with blackberry)
  • Top with ginger beer.
  • Squeeze a wedge of lime and drop into mug.
  • Garnish with a sprig of rosemary
  • Optional garnish: pick of blackberries, or cranberries or a few pomegranate seeds, depending on your flavor.

11.) Chocolate Banana Shake

Decadent chocolate with…what is that? Banana?! Mmm so good! Our Dreidoppel Banana Flavor Paste adds a subtle flavor surprise in this creamy chocolate milkshake. Truly a guilty pleasure!

You'll need:

  • Combine in blender and blend well.

12.) Mango Tropical Smoothie

An instant transfer to the tropics! If you prefer the sun over the winter chill, this mango smoothie is vibrant color and flavor! With Mango Flavor Paste combined with frozen pineapple chunks, this fruity concoction is what smoothie dreams are made of!

You'll Need:

  • 8 oz Coconut milk
  • 4 oz Coconut-based yogurt
  • 1 cup Frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons Mango Flavor Paste
  • Ice

Instructions:

  • Place in blender and blend smooth.

For extra health benefits, throw in some shredded coconut or chia seeds!
